The topic of pain is one that is not well understood- especially by those that treat it, rather than live it. But this next story leads me to have hope there will be more advances in the treatment of pain. It is just a start.

- I have Chronic Pain, which is what this blog is dedicated to. There is a deep misunderstanding and lack of support in society for those suffering with chronic pain; namely because it is a blanket term for so many conditions. It is a silent and invisible illness that gets us ridicule, and undeserved judgment. This is in hopes people can see what it is like in a narrative perspective, and those who are suffering, can see they're not alone.
